Activity 1

Activity 2
Instructions:
1. Re-read the information located in your completed tables about characteristics, movement/gesture and voice
2. Find someone else in your class to work with and form a pair
3. In your pairs, determine who will be the male 'lover', and who will be the female 'lover'
4. Face each other with roughly 2 metres between you. Following this, using the character information you re-read, practice gesturing to one another with the emotions of:
5. Once you have done this, add dialogue and movement, and improvise a short 1 minute interaction between the lovers based around one of the following stimuli:

- First laying eyes on one another
- Re-uniting after a long time apart
- The male lover has not yet asked the female lover's father for permission to marry
- The female lover has been told she must marry another man whom she greatly dislikes
- The lovers farewell until tomorrow
